Challenge Accepted

Introduction:

Good day, friends. Got your coffee ready?? I’m excited to share what has been on my mind lately with you. I am hopeful to shed some insight and even some uplifting points in this article, surrounding faith with Jesus and walking with Him daily.

Hold on to your coffee mugs boys and gals, because I am about to have a real transparent conversation with you all. This article might sound dramatic which is in my nature to be, ahah! However deep down, I know these things have been my current struggles and thoughts.

Inner Thoughts and Emotions

For the past few weeks, my heart and my mind have been in a serious slump. My mind wants to be effective in so many different ways. This includes being more intentional with work, home, friends, and faith. I want to strive for more meaningful moments between interactions I have with others. For me, it’s always the small things that make a difference and that’s one way I like to share my care (paying attention to the details).

I love putting my fullest effort and energy into what I’m doing in the present moment. But it does happen sometimes that I don’t have enough stamina or lack of awareness to be fully present. Does this sound familiar, maybe you can relate to my own dilemma. I find myself drifting throughout the day into various thoughts. I believe when I had a set morning routine that my life felt a bit more in order.

Okay okay, you may think I’m crazy for thinking a morning routine would cure all problems. Nonetheless, when I find myself in an organized manner, I really become healthier! I feel like I am able to show up and be there no matter what comes my way. Though the morning can be rough to be more structured at first, it does get smoother and more enjoyable.

Over the past few weeks, I have tried to be proactive in keeping my physical space clean, and tidy. Meal prep is a hassle but in the long run, it keeps me from going insane! Making time for my personal care, self tanning, hair enhancing, nail care.Ect. Finding time can be hard, but carving out these moments is essential!

Getting the Magic Back

Having these personal moments can be magic and help bring the real you BACK to the surface!

I thank the Lord that I have the opportunity that I do have to create a beautiful environment for myself and others. Every day is so precious and spending each moment living in the present is a desire that I have.

I believe you would agree that giving yourself time to be simply YOU, is a crucial component of having a sustainable life. Where you strive is where you thrive, baby!

In this season I want to strive in the areas that I have held back on, and really lunch those into existence. You could say I want the magic back, and better than ever before! Haha! I know putting the effort in is almost always different from the words that come from our mouths. I truly believe it’s a heart-and-head mindset!

Launching Your Goals

In the timeline of writing this article, I have noted just a few minor changes to my life, that I believe will carry me far. I made sure not to overdo my “to-do” list! Ahh! I’m so excited to get started and put these goals into practice.

Friends, whatever the case may be for you and the way you approach your life schedule. I hope to bring some extra encouragement to the table for you! Small positive changes turn into huge improvements over time, remember that.

Prayer:

Lord, as we live out this beautiful life you have given, let us be patient knowing each moment has been ordained by you. Give us strength as we make necessary changes in our lives, and provide us with the ability to take care of our bodies knowing you have designed them with purpose: let us be reminded of your way and the blessing that comes from following it. Change us and shape us…
